Jen Weaver

After a degree in zoology from Aberystwyth, Jen trained as a botanist and worked in Buxton under the leadership of one of the UK’s leading ecologists, Penny Anderson Associates. Jen now provides high-level expertise on a range of projects, particularly complex sites with multiple protected species and Habitat Regulations Assessments.

Jen is a passionate artist and enjoys print making and sketching. Her current focus is making charcoal - not only to draw with - but also carbonising intricate organic structures, such as seed heads and flowers to create natural sculptures. Jen has written a piece here which includes some pictures of her work.
